Oirase Keiryu (stream) is a famous natural wonder of Towada area in Aomori Prefecture. The stream flows through a mountainous area for roughly 14 kilometers. The rock formations provide the stream a rich and rugged terrain, creating roughly a dozen waterfalls through the woods. Though the stream is not so long, the surrounding beauty throughout the four seasons and the dramatic flow of water make Oirase Keiryu nothing short of spectacular.
