Both international and local reviewers state that Bills serves some of the best pancakes in Tokyo. I always pay a visit to its Omotesando branch when I am in the Harajuku or Shibuya areas. Located in Tokyu Plaza Ometesando Harajuku, close to the popular shopping mall of Laforet Harajuku, the restaurant is just a minute’s walk from Meiji-jingumae Station. The restaurant is always full, so I advise customers to avoid peak hours or make a reservation beforehand through the restaurant’s website.
With many art pieces and books on display, Bills has a very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The staff are also remarkably friendly and cheerful. Bills is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in the busy city. The restaurant has a very extensive and attractive menu, which includes burgers, sandwiches, salads and pasta, rice and barbecue dishes, but my favorite item is ricotta hotcakes. Topped with fresh banana and honeycomb butter, they may not look as spectacular as other hotcake creations. But the fluffy hotcakes with a hint of ricotta cheese are utterly delicious, and they will certainly make your day.
