Nishi Park

Late March to Early April

Enjoy a panoramic view of the cherry blossoms and ocean from the observation deck
Nishi Park is the most famous spot for cherry blossom viewing in Hakata, and is cherished by locals. The park sprawls over a massive 170,000 square meters, and in spring it is particularly beautiful with its 1,300 or so cherry trees in full bloom. The view from the observation deck looking out over Hakata Bay with the cherry trees in the foreground is a must-see.
