Receive a complimentary Suica Card with JPY1.500 (approx. GBP10) credit when boarding JL042 flight from London to Tokyo Haneda.
All UK residents who purchase a JL ticket from 22 October 2018 and board flight JL042 departing from London to Tokyo Haneda at 09.35AM between 01 November 2018 and 31 January 2019 can request a complimentary Suica Card through JAL.
Passengers must be UK residents and must purchase a Japan Airlines air ticket (ticket number starting with 131) between 22 October and 31 December 2018 with confirmed seat on flight JL042 departing from London between 01 November 2018 and 31 January 2019.
Infants (0-2 years) are not eligible for this promotion.
HOW TO APPLY
Simply enter your full name, contact details (including your UK address) and JAL ticket number (131 followed by 10 digit numbers) HERE.
Up to 260 Suica Cards are available on a "first come, first served" basis.
If you are travelling with one or more travel companions, please include all eligible ticket numbers in the request form. One card per ticket can be requested (except tickets for Infants).
This promotion ends when all the cards have been allocated. Suica cards will be dispatched by Royal Mail with Standard Delivery, therefore please allow 10 working days between your application and the delivery of the card. Japan Airlines is not responsible for any damage, delay, and/or failure with the delivery.
What is Suica Card?
Suica Card, like the TFL Oyster Card, is a prepaid card that can be used to board JR East trains, underground and buses in Japan. It can also be used to buy soft drinks and coffee from the vending machines and on the train, as well as newspapers at the station kiosk.
